Adding the LeadBI Tracking Code using Google Tag Manager

If you are already using Google Tag Manager (GTM), this is a great way to easily add the Tracking Code.

  1. If you still have to begin using GTM, you need to create an account, enter the account name and then your website url. Then add the GTM script as indicated.
  2. Add a new Trigger: in the left sidebar click on Triggers, and then on the NEW button  (If you already have a trigger starting on all pages view, you can skip this step and go to step 3)

Choose a fitting name for this trigger (ex: LeadBI Page Visit) and click on the pencil icon on the top right corner to configure the trigger.

Select Page View and then click on the SAVE button on the top right corner.

3. Add the Tracking Code: in the left sidebar click on Tags, and then on the NEW button

Choose a fitting name (ex: LeadBI Tracking Code) and then click on Tag Configuration

Choose the Custom HTML tag type and paste the LeadBI Tracking Code inside the text area that will appear inside the Tag Configuration box

Click on the Triggering box and select the trigger created in step 2 (or your existing step). Now click on the SAVE button

The Tracking Code is now active and working.
